The Owners have lived here since 1970, and run the Farm and the Agritourism, and personally care for the accomodation of their guests.

Since that time the Barsi Family have started a meticulous renovation of the original Farm, making the Ambiente cosy and familiar.

Le Poggiola is surrounded by the Tuscan Countryside, and is suitable for lovers of rural tourism. Its location is strategic to visit the main tuscan Art centers and cities: just 4 kms away from the A11 motorway entrance of Montacatini Terme.

The Farmhouse Le Poggiola offers various possibilities to relax in a natural environment. One of them is the Swimming Pool, which is part of the structure.

The Swimming Pool of the Agritourism Le Poggiola is located in the garden, in a sunny area, and it is suitable either for adults and for their children, and can be used during the whole day.

Nature and Good Food

It is often difficult to decide whether in an Agritourism you will appreciate more genuine food or local Nature.

The comparison is between the classic Tuscan Countryside, its hills and valleys, lawns and woods and typical Tuscan products famous in the whole world such as Red and White Chianti Wine, Salami, Hams and Cheese (among which various sorts of Pecorino cheese), Honey, fresh Fruits and Vegetables from the orchard and vegetable garden in the Farm.

You will not have to decide what you prefere. All you have to do is let the Barsi Family serve you, and enjoy both of them!

Snow at Le Poggiola

It does not happen so often. The pre-Christmas period has brought a short and intense snowfall to this part of Tuscany, normally craddled by a mild winter sun.

A white blanket has entirely covered the green tuscan countryside, and has let us enjoy Christmas one week earlier.
